I am an advanced Kobido Ancestral Specialist❀ in the advanced level.
Kobido is my passion.
Based on techniques learned from Master Takumi Finch, Master Masseur and Master Teacher (modeled on the teachings of Dr. Shogo Mochizuki, 26th generation Kobido Master in Tokyo).
This ancestral Japanese massage is my exclusive practice. I'm the only practitioner in this area with an Advanced Specialist diploma, (plus the Master Class in lymphatic drainage, and the Master Class eyes, as well as the only practitioner (to my knowledge) who practices Only Kobido. The manual techniques for this massage are not only difficult to learn, because there are so many of them, but also difficult to perform. It takes years of regular training to master the finger/hand form, technique, speed, pressure and so much more. It takes years to master this art form, and that's one of the reasons I'm so dedicated to it.
Kobido is a Japanese art that dates back more than 500 years. Once a well kept secret, this beauty ritual was exclusively reserved for Empresses and Geishas, then eventually became a traditional art, somewhat like the tea rituel. Still passed on from generation to generation by Kobido Masters, “the ancient way of beauty” is the oldest, most sophisticated natural face massage available today. Using these technical gestes (more than 50) on the face and neck reminds me of the Japanese philosophy that considers “beauty as a perfect balance of physical, emotional, and spiritual health.”
The ultimate lifting facial, using a series of finger, wrist and hand choreography with light, yet precise movements on the face and neck, stimulates the blood circulation (which brings oxygen & nutrients to the cells in the epidermis), and drains the lymphatic system (which reduces inflammation & detoxes the tissues to improve the skin health & texture). The most widely appreciated techniques in the Kobido protocols are the gestures that stimulate and sculpt the more than 40 muscles in the face. All the actions in the protocols contribute to healthy skin & a radiant complexion.
Stunning results are evident after 1 session: skin becomes more toned & firm, the chin and cheeks are lifted giving an overall fresh, youthful appearance as wrinkles appear smoother due to muscle sculpting, notably around the areas that are difficult to improve with botox or surgery. (neck, jawline, eye contour) The stress & tension in the face are eliminated, restoring the natural glow. One feels euphoric & energetic afterwards. While the goal is to provide an anti-aging massage with aesthetic benefits, the Kobido techniques also work to improve overall health by re-energizing the body (calming the nerves & the organs via pressure points on the face) and the mind (induces a deep relaxation often into the parasympathetic state). As French women know, the ultimate Kobido treatment is to get this massage 4 or more times within a few weeks so that the muscles and tissues regain strength as they are sculpted to the morphology of the face.
My philosophy is to restore the skin naturally to a more youthful appearance by nourishing & hydrating the eye contours, the face and neck, while massaging every inch without creams, serums or other commercial products. This global massage is by far the best natural alternative to any product or surgery available today. Additionally, it is very effective to re-center one’s energy after a major change in life: a divorce, a relocation, recovering from surgery, etc. Men or Women of any age will see & feel the benefits of Kobido.
